Greetings Fishhuggers!  Please join us at our home (2031 N 47th St,
Phoenix) on Saturday, March 27 from 6-9pm for sushi and sashimi.  Chef
Melanie Von Kort will prepare and serve sustainable sushi featuring our
wild Alaska salmon, ikura and more!  Please place your order and RSVP
602.286.9233.  Cash tips for the sushi chef are greatly appreciated.

We have 4 more weeks in Phoenix!  Due to the Easter holiday and other
special events, we will be missing a few of our regular weekly
Phoenix-area farmers markets.  Please check our calendar page frequently

the Phoenix area again in late October 2010.

If you're in the Phoenix area and would like to stock your freezer/pantry

TRUE FOOD NEWS:  WHITE BEEF
This week's true food news is a bit different.  It concerns a beef that we
recently butchered.  Due to unknown factors, the meat is very light, or
white.  When this beef is thawed, the meat more closely resembles pork. 
The flavor is much milder than our standard grassfed beef.  This seems to
be a once in a lifetime occurrence; similar to the white rhino and white
buffalo we've all heard about.  We're wondering if there is some rancher
or farmer somewhere who has some input on this beef?  Any comments and
insights will be appreciated!
