PHOENIX FISHHUGGERS: We'll be back at the Roadrunner Park Farmers Market
beginning Saturday, November 1, 2008. We'll also participate in the
Ahwatukee and Town & Country Farmers Markets beginning in November and the
Carefree Farmers Market beginning in January 2009. Should you need
anything in the meantime, I would be pleased to ship via FedEx--I'll need
your zip code and a vague order for a shipping quote. Bee Hugger Honey,
Bee Pollen and Chocolate Honey are still available.

ALASKA UPDATE: Kenny and the crew of the Aleutian Belle are doing well.
They have caught about 15,000lbs of halibut and are now busy in the
Shelikof Strait catching wild salmon. Although salmon runs are below the
10 year average, stocks are strong and healthy. 2006 was the largest
salmon harvest on record (ADF&G has been keeping records since 1893) and
2007 was the second largest on record. Colder waters initially delayed
many salmon runs, but the fish are now arriving in huge bio-mass.

Coming soon to a NM Growers Market near you...the 2008 harvest of Sockeye
Salmon, King Salmon and Halibut! Now is the time to reserve your 50lb
case of King Salmon. I estimate the 2008 harvest to be available about
August 23.

Our many thanks to all of you for your support. Please share this email
with your wild-salmon loving friends and family! Enjoy your local growers
markets!

Eat Well,
Brenna Aschbacher-Mrs Fishhugger
