Many of our CSA members have already placed their bulk orders for salmon,
beef, olive oil and honey for the season. We offer bulk discounts for
large orders, please contact us by phone 602.286.9233 or email
info at fishhugger for more info on placing your bulk order.

In an effort to avoid plastic bags, we are now offering cloth, reusable
market bags for $5 each. Each bag is custom made and proceeds will
benefit Rio Grande Roots & Shoots. Please help us protect the environment
by bringing your own bags, baskets or coolers or purchasing one of these
great custom Roots & Shoots bags!

TRUE FOOD NEWS: The New Yorker magazine ran an article in August, 2007
reporting on the trade in adulterated olive oil. To summarize, much of
the "extra-virgin olive oil" sold in the US is actually bogus, being mixed
with Turkish hazelnut oil and Argentinean sunflower seed oil. For the
complete article, visit
http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2007/08/13/070813fa_fact_mueller

TRUE HEALTH NEWS: The film, The Business of Being Born, interlaces
intimate birth stories with surprising historical, political and
scientific insights and shocking statistics about the current maternity
care system. Should most births be viewed as a natural life process, or
should every delivery be treated as a potentially catastrophic medical
emergency? View the trailer and find out more at
http://www.thebusinessofbeingborn.com/trailer.htm This film will be shown
at The Screen in Santa Fe, NM later this week (Oct 25, 26, 27).

Our many thanks to all of you for your support!

Eat Well,
Kenny & Brenna Aschbacher~The Fishhuggers
