Greetings Fish Huggers!  Our best wishes to all of you for great food and
good health in 2006!  A few news items for you:

1.  We will be ordering NM Organic Pecan Halves and NM Cheese for our
personal use this week.  If anyone would like to place orders for 1lb bags
of pecan halves, cheese curds, or asiago cheese (1 lb packages), please
let us know by this Friday, January 13.

2.  Kenny the Fish Hugger will be interviewed by Kim and Don of Culinary
Confessions on Monday, January 16.  The program runs 11am-1pm on 1310 KXAM
radio.

3.  Friday, January 20 is Heirloom Burger Night at Nix Supper Club (Thomas
Rd & 56th St).  Featuring our 100% Grassfed Beef...more details to come.

4.  We have whole fish available!  They are great for parties, poaching,
or cutting yourself and repackaging.  Whole salmon are available for
$5/lb.

5.  It may seem early, but we are going to Alaska and New Mexico on May
1st, as usual.  It's not too soon to order your 50lb case of salmon/beef
to tide you over for the summer.  We offer a 20% discount on orders of
50lbs or more, so get a group of friends, family, co-workers, etc.
together and place an order.

6.  We are now interviewing for a part-time nanny.  We are looking for
help with childcare and light housework 20-30 hours per week, primarily
Saturday mornings.  If you are interested, please call Brenna at

7.  We have updated the calendar page of our website with all of January's
farmers markets and events  http://www.fishhugger.com/calendar.html  If
anyone would like to submit recipes for Fish Hugger Salmon or beef via
email, we're happy to include them on our website.

Alaska Fisheries.  We truly enjoy feeding our Fish Hugger Family.
