Ranch Style Beef Steak
This is a great, quick way to prepare steaks without firing up the grill.
Grassfed Beef Steak Beef Tallow or Olive Oil Sea Salt and Pepper
This recipe is for Grassfed Beef Steaks cut 1 inch thick. Completely thaw steak. Pre-heat a cast iron skillet in the oven to 500 degrees. Rub a little Beef Tallow or Olive Oil on both sides of steak. Remove skillet from the oven and place on high heat on the stovetop. Place steak in skillet and sear for 30 seconds, turn over and sear for another 30 seconds. Put the skillet with the steak in it back into the 500 degree oven. Let the steak cook uncovered in the oven for 2 minutes on each side for medium. Take skillet out of oven and place steaks on a plate. Season to taste with sea salt and pepper. Let the steak rest about 5 minutes before serving, this lets the juices redistribute throughout the steak. Serve and enjoy!
