Holiday Honey Nog

A delicious and nutritious winter beverage! Be sure to use eggs from pastured hens, raw honey, raw milk and raw cream. ENJOY!
6 eggs, separated

1/3 cup honey

5 cups milk

1/2-1 tsp rum extract (we leave this out and add extra fresh grated nutmeg)

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup heavy cream

In large bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add yolks and honey; mix well. Stir in rum extract, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Chill. Just before serving, fold in heavy cream; pour into large pitcher or punch bowl. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
